Jazz Web Designs’ Guiding Principles

Our Background
Owner and principal designer, Carol Din entered the world of computers in 1983 with her first college computer programming class. Her major at that time was chemical technology, but her minor was computer programming. Her goal was to earn a position in a major corporation….but like many entrepreneurs….the long term goal was to have her own business.
During 1995 while working on her business degree, designing web pages became a hobby. Carol discovered she not only still enjoyed the challenge of programming and writing code….but that she had a talent and an eye for design. The seed for Jazz Web Designs was planted.
The seed
took root in 1996. Upon the completion of her degree, Carol undertook the challenge of
developing the University of Phoenix - Online Campus Alumni Network Chapter’s
website. In 1998, Carol joined the HTML Writers Guild*, Netscape's DevEdge Alliance*. In
1999, Carol joined Microsoft's SiteBuilder Network* and the International Webmaster
Association*. She participates in these organizations' training and continuing
education programs to increase and hone her technical and design capabilities.
The seed has ripened and blooms as Jazz Web Designs. Our commitment to building successful partnerships with our clients will enable Jazz Web Designs to flourish.
